Police in Albemarle County are investigating two break-ins around the City.

One incident happened in an office building located on the 600 block of Peter Jefferson Place. Officers say someone broke into the three suites housing Albemarle Cardiology, and the medical offices of Vanessa Camperlengo and John Isenhath.

An unknown amount of cash was taken.

The other break-in happened at the Old Salem Apartments located on the 2600 block of Barracks Road. Officers say someone forced themselves into the leasing office and took an unknown amount of money. Police believe the incident happened late Sunday night.
