It's a combination of choirs from France and America, and they'll be performing in Charlottesville. And Mayor David Brown says.... it's a show not to be missed: "This Saturday (8/13/05) there's going to be a unique and wonderful musical event in Charlottesville; as most people know we have an emerging sister-city relationship with Besancon France which had led to Chamber of Commerce trips, an art show...we have an exchange of students...and now they're sending their choir along with the city of Staunton who is sending their choir, and their sister city Maiche. The combined choirs of Staunton, Besancon, Maiche and Charlottesville, in this case the Mount Zion 1st African Baptist Church Choir, are going to perform at the Church on Saturday at 4 pm and it's going to be an event not to be missed. I have it on good authority from Jonathan Spivey of Charlottesville High School that this is an event not to be missed so people should try hard to be there."
