The dilemma over what to do about panhandlers in Albemarle has been put to rest.
With one county supervisor missing, a vote of 5 to 0 in favor of "prohibiting" panhandlers from soliciting on streets or medians was passed.
No date has yet been set as to when the law will go into effect.
