Albemarle County has a new addition to their staff, naming their first Business Development Facilitator.
Susan Stimart will hold the position as primary connector with the county and the business community. She'll focus on development opportunities in the county's master plan and other urban areas.
Bringing 15 years of experience to the job, Susan said she's up to the new challenge.
"It's definitely a new frontier," said Stimart. "It's very exciting for me personally coming to the area from Washington, D.C. It's a beautiful area. I'm very excited about it."
Before moving to Charlottesville , Stimart worked with several business owners revitalizing areas of Washington, D.C.
