Eight candidates, one building, and nearly 100 attendees. No it wasn't a debate but a candidate forum.

Hosted by the "Senior Statesmen of Virginia" and the Senior Center, Inc. the candidate forum kicked off early Wednesday afternoon.

The forum allowed all eight delegates to answer any questions as well as inform constituents about their plans.

"They get to meet the candidates, they get to ask the candidates pertinent questions concerning their campaigns," explained Senior Center Communications Coordinator, Philip Day. "It's an opportunity for the Senior Center to serve the community."

Candidates in attendance:
Delegate Watkins Moorman Abbitt, Jr. - Incumbent 59th District (I)
Delegate Rob Bell - Incumbent, 58th District (R)
Steve Koleszar - Challenger, 58th District (D)
