A local school will soon be raffling off some big prizes for a good cause. The Peabody school in Charlottesville is gearing up for its annual fundraiser for the school's Scholarship and Tuition Assistance Program.

A local school will soon be raffling off some big prizes for a good cause. The Peabody School in Charlottesville is holdings its annual fundraiser for the school's scholarship and tuition assistance program.

This year, Peabody is holding a raffle and the winner gets to take home a new Harley-Davidson or $25,000. All proceeds from the raffle tickets go towards the scholarship program which is very important to the school.

"We should try to reflect as best we can the wider community that exists here in Charlottesville and Albemarle, and that diversity reflected here in the hallways of our school and in our individual classrooms benefit our students in the long run," said Head of School, Chris Roberson.

Tickets cost $50 and will be sold up until the drawing this Saturday at 3 p.m. That will take place at Waugh Harley-Davidson in Orange.
