University of Virginia graduates are going back to their alma mater to lend a helping hand.
The 14 students are back in the classroom for six weeks of training that will prepare them for a program that will allows them to live in surrounding counties and guide student towards attending college.
Financial aid, admissions, diversity issues, and various forms of post secondary education are some of the courses the former students will study.
High School students whom college seems out of reach are the targeted students in this program.
It will start this upcoming fall.
