Police may be one step closer to finding, Taylor Behl, the missing Virginia Commonwealth University freshman student.

An off-duty Richmond police officer found Behl's car a mile and a half from her dorm. Behl was last seen leaving her dorm September 5th. Police say the Virginia license plate had been replaced with a stolen plate from Ohio.

Evidence found in the car was turned over to the FBI for forensic testing.

Behl's mother hopeful and thinks that finding Behl's car is an important piece to bringing 17-year-old Behl home.
