Although voting day isn't until November 8, absentee voting is already underway. Because not everyone will be in town that day, some voters are casting their votes now.
Absentee voters have until November 5th to vote. Registrar Sheri Iachetta says there are two ways to vote absentee.
"They can come vote in person-- it just takes a matter of minutes, it's very quick. If they're going to be out of town, on business, vacation, [or] if they're a student we can mail them a ballot," said Iachetta.
Anyone who hasn't registered to vote yet has until October 11 to do so.
