We have an update to the Cismont dump in Albemarle County.
By Monday, paint cans, chemicals and concrete shingles were expected to be removed. Several months ago County officials demanded the property owners clean-up their yard which was scattered with various junk. Health officials said the dump violated the state health code.
So far, much of the yard has been cleared. November 15 is the final clean-up deadline.
