Charlottesville Pedestrian Struck

Charlottesville Police are investigating a pedestrian hit by a car tonight. It happened just before 6 p.m. in the 700 block of West Main Street.

A woman was crossing the street in an intersection when she was struck by a black SUV. She was transported to UVA with non-life threatening injuries. The road was closed for about ten minutes while the woman was transported.
