Virginia Tech Shooting Investigations Remain Active

The Virginia State Police and the Virginia Tech Police Department continue to work on investigations in to the shootings that took place last year. They say the 32 homicides and 24 attempted homicides will remain active for at least several more months.

The Virginia State Police and the Virginia Tech Police Department continue to work on investigations in to the shootings that took place last year. They say the 32 homicides and 24 attempted homicides will remain active for at least several more months.

During the past year, investigators have received additional leads that are still being pursued and analyzed. Investigators are also still assembling and reviewing more than 30 volumes of evidentiary and investigative reports. The transcription of more than 450 telephone calls related to the incident has just been completed and are now being reviewed as evidence.

Investigators are also still searching for Cho’s computer hard-drive, cell phone and wallet.
