A Charlottesville man is in jail tonight charged with aggravated sexual battery.
Charlottesville police arrested 19-year-old Lamont Minor last night.
They say a female was walking down 6 1/2 street South West around 11:30 p.m. when she was attacked. The victim began screaming and then the suspect fled. Minor was apprehended about one hour later.
