City officials put their basketball skills to the test all while in a wheelchair. It was all part of the 25th annual Charlottesville Cardinals Wheelchair game. Mayor David Brown along with City Councilmen Kevin Lynch and Blake Caravati joined in.
Past players also showed their support including Delegate Mitch Van Yahres who played in the first game 25 years ago. Tom Vandever with the Independent Resource Center says the game means a lot to his players.
"I think it makes all of our players feel very happy and very supported by the city," explained Vandever.
And just in case you're wondering about the final score, City officials scored 21 and team members scored 22.
