Police continue to investigate a shooting that happened Tuesday night at Abbington Crossing apartment complex.

Police found a 31-year-old victim slumped over the wheel of a silver GMC Youkon Tuesday night.

The victim suffered two gun wounds, a shot to the head and neck.

County police obtained two felony arrest warrants for 19-year-old Adrian Jamal Howard, who is believed to have ties in Gordonsville.

Residents who were home at the time of the shooting say the neighborhood is normally quiet and peaceful.

"[I'm] pretty shocked, pretty shocked," said resident Roger Zemka. "I don't even know what to say."

"It makes me a little leery and afraid," said Mary Washington. "I'm shocked completely. I just wouldn't expect anything like that in this community."

Police believe Howard may be traveling in a tan, 1992-1993 Ford Taurus and say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

If you have any information about Tuesday night's shooting, police urge you to call Crimestoppers at (434) 977-4000.
