Charlottesville Police have arrested a 27-year-old involved in a sexual assault.
Charlottesville Police have arrested Christopher Lynn Matthew. Matthew is charged with sexual assault.
According to police, the Charlottesville resident, was involved in a sexual assault in the early morning hours of Saturday on Sunset Ave in Charlottesville.
Matthew was taken into custody shortly after the report was made. Police still investigating the incident.
Police say it is not known if Matthew is connected with the serial sexual assaults that have taken place in the city and county for the past several years.
