Newsplex Helps With Katrina Efforts

Many of us at the Newsplex are hearing ringing. That's because we were out at Fashion Square Mall on Friday helping the Salvation Army with its kettle drive.

The organization has brought its bell ringers out a bit early this year to raise money for Katrina victims. So far, the Salvation Army has raised $50 million, $40,000 of that has been collected here in Charlottesville.
