Charlottesville Police answered a call for a shooting involving a teenager.

It happened in the 900 block of 1st Street in Southeast Charlottesville.

According to police, an 18-year old man was shot in his back, inside a home around 10:30 Saturday night.

Investigators are not sure how the man was shot. The man was taken to the UVA Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

While collecting evidence, police noticed several bullet holes in part of the residential structure.

Charlottesville Police are continuing to investigate.
