Charlottesville Votes To Elect School Board

The City of Charlottesville will have an elected school board.

It's the first time in history the city will elect members to a board.

Voting yes on the referendum to elect a school board was 73% of the city's voters, and voting no was 27% percent of the city's voters.

The first election will be in May when the City Council faces their election.
