Bicyclist in Hospital After Being Struck by Car
A bicyclist is in the hospital this evening after being struck by a car at the Preston Place Apartments

A bicyclist is in the hospital this evening after being struck by a car.
The accident happened at around 4:15 this afternoon at the Preston Place apartments off Preston Avenue in Charlottesville.
Police say a driver hit the bike, and the person on the bike went through the vehicle's windshield.
That driver has been cited for failure to yield.
The bicyclist was taken to the hospital for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
