19th-annual Artisans Studio Tour Showcases Local Artists

November 10, 2013

The 19th annual Artisans Studio Tour wrapped up its weekend event Sunday.

City Clay was one of the stops on the tour that stretched across Central Virginia.

People were also able to walk through the different locations to see the artwork that was on display by local artists.

There was woodwork, pottery, glass art as well as weaving and art with metal. The tour ran from Saturday to Sunday to showcase the local artists in the Commonwealth.

“We had people coming in from all over, North Carolina, Maryland, DC, and, of course, lots of local people coming in, a lot of old friends too,” says Randy Bill, the owner of City Clay. “So it's just been great, the exposure is wonderful."

Twenty-three studios were on the tour this year, and for a complete list, click on the link below.
