MANASSAS, Va. (AP) - Prince William County police are investigating a crash that killed two people in Manassas.

Officers were called to Dumfries Road and Minnieville Road early Sunday morning for a two-car crash. Police say a Honda Civic was heading south on Dumfries Road and made a left turn on a red light. The car struck a GMC Envoy in the intersection.

Police say the Honda Civic caught fire after the impact. Rescuers were able to free the driver and a rear passenger from the car. But a front-seat passenger was trapped in the car. The rear passenger was later pronounced dead, along with the front-seat passenger who had been trapped. The driver is in critical condition.

The victims are identified as 35-year-old Gisela Zuniga of Woodbridge and 60-year-old Francisa Knauf of Triangle.
