Often times teenagers in need are overlooked during the holiday giving season.

But local businesses are working with our sister station WAHU FOX 27 and the Salvation Army to change that.

They're asking members of the community to pick up and fill a holiday stocking for a local teenager or to donate money.

Local students, residents and businesses are encouraged to get involved.

"Giving back to the community is a huge, huge benefit for us and we're very excited to be a part of this and we look forward to people coming into our office and participating in this event," said Enterprise Rent-A-Car's Justin Kinsey.

Drop off locations include: the Newcomb Hall Student Center (at UVA), Qdoba Mexican Grill (on the UVA Corner), Enterprise Rent-A-Car (in Seminole Square, Pantops Shopping Center and in Orange), the Salvation Army on Ridge St. and the WAHU FOX27 Studio.
