After making her way across the pageant stage, Ms. Wheelchair Virginia showed off her crown in Charlottesville Thursday.
Angie Wilkerson is making her way across the state talking about her experiences in the Ms. Wheelchair Virginia pageant.
She is also encouraging others to enter this year's event.
Last year's only contestant from Charlottesville, Rose Williams, says she would do it all over again.
"I came back with new friends, new opportunities, and most of all, I learned that I'm not alone in my everyday challenges," said Williams.
The 2006 pageant will be held in Richmond from March 16-19, 2006.
