The Greene County Sheriff's Office says that 43-year-old Troy Wayne Morris has been found safe in Albemarle County.

The sheriff's office reports that Morris was staying in a hotel. A spokesperson would not elaborate on what he was doing at the hotel.

Morris went missing on July 14. His family said it's uncharacteristic of him to leave and not return.

Morris is now staying at his mother's house in Greene County.

The Greene County Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's help in the search for 43-year-old Troy Wayne Morris.

Morris is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs between 200 lbs. and 210 lbs.

Family members say he returned home from work on the evening of July 14, but then stepped out a few minutes later and never returned.

Morris was last seen driving a maroon 1999 Subaru Outback with gold bumpers.

"Family members are concerned," says Greene County investigator Linda Jenkins. "They have not heard anything from him, which is unlike him. He has not been at his job. He worked at the ABC store in Ruckersville. He also works at the Greene Hills country club, and he hasn't returned to work."

Family members say Morris likes to visit Skyline Drive.
