Charlottesville Police Investigate Lankford Avenue Shooting

Charlottesville Police are investigating a shooting that took place just after midnight on Friday morning.

People living on Lankford Avenue say they heard up to 10 gun shots.

One person said it sounded like a war zone. Police canvassed the 100-block of Lankford Avenue and found shell casings.

The person who reported the incident said there was a hole in a wall of his apartment.
