Charlottesville Police Asking for Help Identifying Suspect

The Charlottesville Police Department releases store surveillance camera images of the suspect from an armed robbery.

The robbery happened on Monday, July 22, at the Seven Day Jr. on 14th St. NW.

Police say the store clerk was approached by an African American man, who pointed a firearm and robbed the business of an undisclosed about of money. The store clerk was not injured.

The suspect was described as wearing dark clothing and a mask.
