A-Rod and 13 Others Face MLB Suspension

All-star third baseman for the New York Yankees, Alex Rodriguez is one of 14 players facing suspensions from Major League Baseball for alleged ties to the anti-aging clinic in Florida.

Porter Fischer worked at the Miami area clinic and leaked patient files to the press. He says he did it to expose the clinic's owner, Tony Bosch, who was reportedly supplying steroids to an all-star roster of clients.

"It's not me saying ha ha look at the ball players, look at the ball players. I was walking up saying, hey look at what this guy is doing, look at this guy's operation. You guys just happened to be clients of his. That's not my business, that's your problem," said Fischer

Most of the players are facing a 50 game suspension but, Alex Rodriguez faces a 200 game suspension because he's accused of actively obstructing the investigation.

Rodriguez's attorney says A-Rod will fight any suspensions handed down. However, MLB officials will reportedly give Rodriguez a lifetime ban if he does not agree to a 200 game suspension.

A-Rod has been cleared to play ball after missing the entire season due to an injury. Rodriguez will suit up Friday for the Yankee's minor league affiliate in New jersey, but only if he doesn't get suspended first.
