Fire Damages 19 Units at Storage Facility in Va.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a fire that damaged more than half the units at a storage facility in Newport News.

Newport News assistant fire chief J. David Barrick says the fire at the Public Storage Facility was reported shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

The fire damaged 19 of 30 units at the facility.

Firefighters were at the scene for almost five hours.

The cause hasn't been determined.
