The Charlottesville man accused of a murder last January pleaded guilty in court today.

Joshua Lee Zimmerman pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the stabbing death of Artis Wayne Keyton

The murder happened outside the B&R market on Avon Street last January.

Prosecutors today said an argument between the two men led to Zimmerman stabbing Keyton in the stomach. Keyton died the following morning.

Keyton's family began clapping in court today when the judge accepted the plea and revoked Zimmerman's bond.

Zimmerman is now behind bars at the Albemarle-Charlottesville regional jail awaiting sentencing.

Zimmerman will be sentenced in April and could face up to 15 years in prison.
