The search for 17-year-old Alexis Murphy continued Saturday morning, four weeks after her disappearance.

Investigators began searching Rockfish River off Route 29 in Nelson County around 7 a.m. Saturday. The Nelson County Sheriff's Department, along with the Lake Monticello Dive Team, looked near other areas of Route 29.

They said they were searching where they believe abduction suspect Randy Taylor may have been prior to his arrest.

"We were looking at topographic maps and the steepest parts of the county and some of the areas that are heavily vegetated and heavily wooded that would conceal evidence," said Investigator Billy Mays of the Nelson County Sheriff's Office. "We actually prompted this search and came up with different scenarios that he might have traveled."

Alexis Murphy has been missing since Aug. 3.
