Tuesday was a big day for local tennis players.
This after the Boar's Head Inn put the final touches on its sports club expansion project.
The state of the art facility houses three new exercise studios as well as indoor and outdoor tennis courts.
It's also home to UVa's men and women tennis teams and is expected to help both teams take it to the next level.
"Of course it helps on the match days, you're going to have a lot of fans here and it will be really nice and comfortable for them, but day to day training to have this facility is priceless, it means everything," said UVa Women's Tennis Coach Mark Guilbeau.
The sports club is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m during the week and 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the weekends.
