STAFFORD, Va. (AP) - A 23-year-old Stafford man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly throwing a fatal punch at another man in an apparent disagreement over $80.

The Free Lance-Star reports that the charge against Logan Peter Dalgarn stems of a drug dispute on June 1. Police say a single punch by Dalgarn left dead 20-year-old Kwesi Tyree Franklin.

The details emerged Friday during a preliminary hearing in Stafford General District Court.

Police initially believed Franklin died as a result of a skateboarding accident. Later a witness said Dalgarn had punched Franklin, and his head hit the asphalt.

The hearing was continued until Nov. 1.
