Gov. Tim Kaine is gearing up for Tuesday's Democratic Response following the Presidents State of the Union address.
Kaine was chosen to speak by Democratic party leaders. The new Governor says he's "thrilled" about delivering what he calls a positive response to the President's speech. Kaine plans to speak on health care, education and the war on terror.
"He's not going to dwell specifically on the presidents speech but rather give his thoughts on the democratic party, possibly on the moderate direction that the party might be taking in the future," said Matt Smyth of the UVa Center for Politics.
