University of Virginia alumna and comedienne Tina Fey returned to grounds Saturday night to speak to students and spread some laughs.
Fey, an actress known for her work on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock, spoke at the McIntire Amphitheater on UVa grounds. She's the inaugural guest for the President's Speaker Series.
The series focuses on the importance of arts in society.
Fey told the crowd she was happy to be back at her old stomping grounds.
"I loved it here, and I graduated a virgin and I still have nothing but happy memories, which is really just a testament to the architecture," Fey joked. "So beautiful."
Fey studied playwriting and acting. She graduated from the College of Arts & Science in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in drama.
