Dr. Chis Holstege, along with the University of Virginia Office of Student Health and Student Affairs, has created a video to educate students about the dangers of the Ecstasy-like drug, Molly.

"They're colorful, you think they'd be safe, but in fact, we know, from a medical standpoint, that I do on a daily basis, they're not safe," says Holstege in the video.

UVa officials say surveys show the drug isn't widely used on Grounds, but that education is the best deterrent anyways.

"Parents and students need to be aware that there are great risks associated with substance abuse,” says UVa Spokesperson McGregor McCance. “And that even drugs that maybe perceived as not as dangerous, they do obviously still carry a great risk to the health and safety of our students."

This comes after the death of UVa student Mary Shelley Goldsmith, whose parents believe she died while taking 'Molly' at a nightclub in Washington, DC earlier this summer.
