The three-week murder trial of triple homicide suspect Taybronne White is scheduled to begin Tuesday in Greene County.

White's father, Alonzo Cutchin, says he stands by his son, maintaining his innocence.

"I believe my son is innocent," Cutchin said. "And I'm just trying to be here for him, stand by him, and support him in every way I can."

White is accused in the May 2011 murders of Dustin Knighton, Brian Lee Daniels and Lisa Hwang after a botched home invasion and robbery. White has maintained his innocence from the beginning.

"We're anxious to hopefully get him in, get him out of here and bring him home," Cutchin said.

Cutchin said the coming weeks will expose a lot of evidence that will help get his son acquitted of the murders.

"We got missing evidence, we got stolen evidence, all of this stuff, tampered with evidence, corrupt evidence. All of this stuff has made it impossible for my son to get a fair trial," he said.

Cutchin points to the case of a Greene County Animal Control officer who admitted to stealing money from an evidence locker. Defense lawyers say the officer may have tampered with evidence in this case.

Defense lawyers are also accusing investigators of improper protocol when showing a witness a photo lineup.

"I'm confident there's no concrete or strong evidence to convict my son on," Cutchin said. "I'm confident because I believe my son. He said he did not do it, and I believe what he said."

The ordeal has cost White's family a lot of money, worry and stress. But his father is confident it'll be over soon.

"I'm gonna stand by my son until he's out of that place," he said.

White's trial is scheduled to last three weeks.
