Albemarle County police arrest two men in connection to car break-ins and larcenies in the Jefferson District.
Police say they received a call around 3:11 AM Friday about two men breaking into cars in the area of Barclay Place Apartments. Officials say officers found the suspects in a parking lot, and arrested them after they attempted to run away.
Richard Dylan Brewer, 33, was arrested and charged with one count of felony larceny and one count of trespassing in a vehicle. Jeremy B. Manning, 23, was charged with one count of felony larceny and two counts of trespassing in a vehicle . Both are being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
Officers were able to recover some of the stolen property and return it to the right owners.
Officials are asking those who live in the area of Barclay Place to check their vehicle to see they are missing any property.
