The Office of Economic Development is trying to get Nelson County residents to have better access to technology.
Officials said broadband surveys have been sent to residents to find out who has internet connectivity and who wants it. The goal is to find out where broadband access is available and how possible new residents can benefit.
"Entrepreneurs are finding they can literally be located anywhere if they have access to broadband internet. Nelson County wants to be a place where entrepreneurs and small business owners can live and work," said Sue Friedman, the Director of Economic Development.
The returned postage is pre-paid so officials are encouraging Nelson county residents to simply fill it out and mail it back.
