Stuck Truck Blocks Traffic in Charlottesville

Oct. 7, 2013

Traffic was a little slow-going near The Corner on Monday morning, after a driver got wedged under the railroad bridge.

The truck was too tall to fit under the bridge at West Main Street and 14th Street, and got stuck despite warning signs in the area.

Charlottesville police were called in to detour traffic in the area until the truck could be removed.

Nobody was hurt, and no word on any charges.
