Albemarle County residents are getting a chance to talk to officials about two major projects underway in the county.
The County is holding an Open House before Wednesday's Board of Supervisors work session. The open house will give residents a chance to discuss plans for the Northside Library Project and the development of three new recycling convenience centers.
Residents will have the opportunity to look at the latest updates for the new Northside Library. The Northside Library will move into a re-purposed building on Rio Road. The latest floor plan will be on display, as well as designs for the building's interior and exterior.
The other project to be discussed at the Open House is the development of three new recycling convenience centers to support the McIntire Recycling Center. Residents will see plans for possible service areas for recycling drop-off and waste disposal, and options for recycling and waste disposal services. Photos of similar centers will be on display to help people get a better understanding of the project.
The Open House will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, at the county office building.
After the Open House residents will be able to voice their input on the projects during the Board of Supervisors work session.
