The investigation continues into a possible abduction of an Albemarle County teenager.

Albemarle County Police say a 16-year-old girl went missing Friday night but was found safely Saturday morning, not long after the police investigation began.

On Sunday, a police spokeswoman tells the Newsplex the investigation into a "possible abduction" is ongoing.

Police would not confirm any details about how the teen went missing or if others may have been involved.
