The Educators Expo was held in Newcomb Hall today where more than 120 school systems were looking for perspective hires. Job seekers met not only with Virginia schools but schools from states all across the U.S. Students got the chance to hand over resumes and set up interviews. It was a way to expose them to the various opportunities in teaching.

"It's been great just being exposed to everything. It's one thing to see everything written down on a piece of paper, but it's another thing to see someone's face and everything just kind of comes to life. It's invigorating and energizing just to see the different opportunities out there", said Felisa Bareddo, a student applying to jobs.

The most popular school systems at the event were Charlottesville city and Albemarle County. The Expo concludes tomorrow with one-on-one interviews.
