George Huguely Transferred to New Correctional Center

Convicted murderer George Huguely has been transferred from the Keen Mountain Correctional Center to the River North Correctional Center.

The River North Correctional Center just opened in October, and is located in Independence, Virginia.

The center is a security level 4 facility, meant for long-term prisoners.

Huguely was convicted last year of murdering his ex-girlfriend, and fellow UVa student, Yeardley Love. He is serving a 23-year sentence.
