Charlottesville Police Want Your Feedback

The Charlottesville police department wants your feedback.

They are distributing a survey; similar to one other police departments across the state are passing out. The department will see how they measure up to agencies around the commonwealth and it will help them to serve you better.

"We do a good job of measuring things statistically, like crime rates and calls for service and those kinds of things. But what we don't...get a really clear picture [of] all time is really how the citizens perceive our service deliveries," said Charlottesville Police Chief Tim Longo.

The city says most of the responses have been positive, but there have been a few indicating that some community members are apprehensive about going out in their neighborhoods after dark.

Here is a copy of the survey due back to the police department by February 20, 2006. Fax to 434-970-3890
