Man Arrested in Connection with Two Robberies

A man was arrested in connection with two robberies in less than an hour.

30-year-old Andre Jenkins was charged with multiple felonies in connection with the two robberies.

According to deputies, the Dollar General in Locust Grove was robbed. The suspect reportedly had a gun, and got away.

About 30 minutes after the Dollar General robbery, another robbery was reported at the Food Lion on Route 3 in Spotsylvania County. The suspect also had a gun and matched the description of the suspect from the previous robbery.

Spotsylvania deputies arrested Jenkins. He is being held without bond.
