The appeal of a former University of Virginia lacrosse player convicted in the murder of his ex-girlfriend is set to be heard later this week.
The Virginia Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing Wednesday, Dec. 11, for George Huguely.
Huguely is appealing his second-degree murder conviction in the beating death of 22-year-old Yeardley Love in May 2010.
