One Man Arrested for Crashing Car into School

December 12, 2013

Albemarle County police charged one man in connection to the car wreck at Broadus Wood Elementary School last Thursday.

Jason Scott Breeden, a 39-year-old from Stanardsville, has been charged with trespassing on school property, reckless driving in a parking lot, and hit and run of unattended property. All three charges are misdemeanors.

Police say Breeden drove an SUV into the side of the school, causing major damage to a 4th grade classroom and fled the scene. The accident happened before any students got to school.

No one was injured in the crash.
