A stroke of luck saved a Fluvanna County man from losing his house after a fire broke out in his backyard. The man noticed flames coming from his shed around 1:30 a.m.
It happened along Richmond Road. Firefighters put out the blaze, but not before it destroyed the shed.
The cause is still unknown. Damages are estimated at about $5,000.
