No Verdict in Robert Cooke Trial

No verdict Tuesday in the first trial of a Chesterfield man accused of killing Albemarle County police dog, Ingo.

Robert Lee Cooke faced trial on charges of possessing a firearm, as a convicted felon.

The trial was continued to April 5, 2006. Prosecutors say Cooke shot Ingo while fleeing the scene of a burglary. Cooke was also shot that day and remains paralyzed.

He faces a second trial on burglary charges, scheduled for April 5.
